CORE!1! — Update 0.8.0

# CORE!1! — Update 0.8.0
We have reworked the opening, brought the main game sections into the Almanac, and made equipment progression more consistent. Discoveries, companions, and new abilities now introduce the game gradually.
## Discoveries along the descent
- Start with a pickaxe and the Almanac. Meet your first pet, the Turtle, in room 4; find the Candle in room 17, your first relic in 21, the Store booklet in 25, the Shovel in 35, and the Crucible in 55.
- Added introductions to Luck, Magnet, and Power charges. Important finds must be collected and inspected before descending further.
- Eggs now hatch after four presses: the shell gradually cracks before the pet appears. Added rocking eggs and sound cues when entering rooms containing eggs or relics.
- Events arrive gradually: the first Minor event appears in room 11, while more complex events unlock further along the route.

## Almanac and Store
- The collection journal, depth map, upgrades, achievements, and Store share a book with bookmarks and animated page turns.
- The journal fills through your discoveries. Collections and achievements have their own indexes and pages.
- The Store is now an album with categories, individual product spreads, characteristics, prices, and permanent ownership marks. Missed eggs and relics remain available under the existing recovery rules.
- Inspect both sides of the Store booklet by dragging to turn and tilt it before putting it away.
- Updated tutorials explain the bookmarks, wait for animations, and remain pending until you press Understood. New sections open after their corresponding discoveries.
- Added sounds for collecting paper, turning pages, and the book's first entrance.
## Progression and resources
- Rebuilt the route and retimed equipment unlocks. The demo now ends in room 184.
- Upgrades follow six connected branches. The next node requires the first rank of its predecessor and the appropriate room; fully upgrading the previous node is no longer required.
- Rebalanced XP, upgrade points, and resource rewards. Pet mining and light carrying unlock through separate upgrades.
- Fixed the match between ore blocks, dropped items, and collection entries. All 84 species—60 minerals, 12 cheeses, and 12 organic specimens—have their own entries and can be encountered within the demo.
- Corrected repeated upgrade names and their order, displayed unlock requirements, and product availability.
## Presentation and fixes
- Updated book pages, Store artwork, discovery animations, and temporary charge icons.
- The retro effect defaults to enabled for new settings; existing preferences are retained. Added subtle screen curvature with matching text and pointer geometry.
- Fixed book interaction during page turns, premature tutorial hints, and transitions between newly unlocked sections.
## Saves
The progression overhaul makes 0.7.1 saves incompatible with the new format. Start 0.8.0 in a new slot. Existing progress is not automatically migrated or reset.
