Core!1!
CORE!1! is a cozy pixel-art mining game built around the irresistible promise of one more block.

Break through the rock, watch each layer crumble, and collect anything valuable hidden inside. Every descent changes the familiar rhythm just enough to offer a new goal.

Sometimes the mine gives you more than ore. Some discoveries turn out to be surprisingly alive—and happy to keep you company.
Earn experience and coins, then assemble your own set of tools:
• Strengthen every swing
• Unlock pickaxes with different abilities
• Improve your lighting and useful equipment
Decide what to buy now and what to save for the next descent. A small upgrade quickly becomes a new chain of satisfying discoveries.
CORE!1! combines a relaxed pace, satisfying destruction effects, and a steady sense of progression. Focus on the next block—or wonder what might be hiding beyond the light.

The mine never reveals all its secrets at once. Keep digging and discover for yourself how deep it will let you go.

When i click on a slot to start a new game it does nothing and shows corrupted save.
I’m really sorry to say this, but there was a game update, and previous saves don't carry over to the new version
Nice cozy game! Completed in a lot of hours :))
Sad that the level has a limit.. I want my pickaxe 10x10!!!
The Light googles seem like an an odd offshoot rather than progression from the lantern
while the other light upgrades follow a simple path of improvement (in which every single one follows the mouse and is based on stats improvement) - the googles are stuck in the middle of the screen (odd considering the supposed movement speed) and scale with the zoom level (extra odd)
unfortunately i wasn't able to compare it to the flashlight due to the 69 lvl cap so I don't know how it compares to latter upgrades
Imo it feels like it should be moved to the store OR needs a rework OR it should be moved to be some kind of a side option in the upgrade tree
Granted, I do have poor vision, but I got to the end of the first level, or I assume so, I killed all the blocks, then what? Nothing seems to do anything. Sorry, but the first time you clear a board if you have to do something to reset it, MAKE IT OBVVIOUS WHAT TO DO. I quit this without upgrading anything and now I think this is one of the worst games I played this year and I gave it basically 0 chance. It sucks. You click some blocks to make them go away and get nothing for it. Yay....
Yes, thanks for the feedback; I’ll make the button more prominent—it should be at the bottom.

I see your image there, but the down arrow button scrolls the map down, and the clear bar wide button looking thing was just a progress bar. I still don't know where the button you claim exists was Clicking that progress bar did nothing, the down arrow scrolled the map down, neither reset the progress.
eventually I figured out you click the next room words, they are the button, just hidden
It would be nice if the upgrades with tiers that are still not maxed to have a different colour eg blue- not unlocked, green - partially unlocked, yellow - maxed
so a player would be able to tell at a glance when zoomed out which upgrades need additional leveling
Thank you! This is a really great idea. I’ll implement distinct colors for tiered upgrades: blue for locked, green for partially leveled, and yellow for maxed out. This will make it much easier to see at a glance which upgrades still need additional levels

ey I have encounterd this bug where the shop zones dissapear untill I restart the game
Thank you so much for the help! I will release a fix for this within the next hour. Thanks again!
will this have some kind of helpers pickeaxes or like that to help u ?
Yes! Right now, there are 20 pickaxes in the game. In future updates, we’re going to add 5 types of drills, and later down the line, a couple of auto-drones to help you out. Also, keep an eye out: in just a couple of hours, we’re dropping an update with new light sources and weather conditions (and that’s just a part of what’s coming!). Plus, the game will be getting weekly updates all the way up to our Steam release!
sorry but what are the coins for?
nvm i finally found the coin shop
Love the idea and execution. Very interesting build!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I’m really glad you like the idea and the build.
In a couple of days, I'm dropping a new update with even more cool stuff. I'm also going to make the progression a bit easier, since a lot of players mentioned it's a bit too tough right now. Stay tuned!
